Unique Modular Ceramic Vessel

Katsinas are representations of spirits that the Hopi Indians, a Northeastern Arizona tribe, worship. The Hopi believe that the majority of spirits reside on Humphreys Peak, in the Coconino National Forest north of Flagstaff, AZ, and each year, these spirits come to the villages in the form of Katsinas, to dance and sing, to bring rain for the upcoming harvest, and to give gifts to the children.
